Kilmainham Goal - 2011

Kilmainham Gaol is a former prison, located in Kilmainham in Dublin, which is now a museum. Visited Kilmainham Gaol on 9th of Feb. Really amazing place! Wonderful but terrible sad history. Its well worth the visit if you love your history! I'd recommend clicking on photos to view larger and all photos can be found in my flickr set here.

Such a sad but beautiful place. If you ever get the chance to take a tour around it do. It is very interesting and if you get a good tour guide like we did you'll learn a good bit about the building and some of our Irish history. The museum is just as good as the tour so make sure you have some time to look around it as well.
