3 New Photos & Baby Daniel

Bird On A Wire

DeviantArt | Flickr

Shot this up in my Nana's.
The sun was setting and there was some crazy clouds.

It was pretty windy that day to and the clouds where moving fast in and out of different shapes.
Then I noticed all the birds flying onto the phone line!!!
Like how it came out in the end.

Location: Legan, Longford, Ireland.

I was really surprised how popular this photo has gotten especially on DeviantArt.
People seem to like it!!!

On Alert

DeviantArt | Flickr

Love the light in this shot and the way she is positioned.
I think she was watching Daddy I'm not sure.
Whatever she was watching she was on alert anyway!!!
One of my favourite animal shots, mainly because she wasn't looking directly at me.
Also how the warm light is lighting up behide her.

Location: Legan, Longford, Ireland.

View On Black is a most.

Some Old Ruins, Johnny O'Neill & A Pheasant Catch.

Firstly some shots taken on the same day (20th & 29th of October 2008) as the shots in the last blog entry.

Abbeyshrule Abbey, Ireland II

First one is of the Abbey in Abbeyshrule. I'm not mad on this shot because its blurry and hasn't great quality but still I thought I'd show it plus I like the colours.
Taken on the 29th October 2008.

Foxhall Church

Flickr | DeviantArt

The inside of the wonderful Foxhall Church.
Not the most perfect shot but I still like it. Taken on the 20
th October 2008.

Some people mightn't like the branch in the corner but I like it, I think it adds mystery and seems like you are appearing out of the bushes or something!!!

The Stone Man is on the right, lit up cross in the middle and gateway in on the left.

Johnny O'Neill Portraits

A portrait series of my relation Johnny O'Neill.
Shot back in August on the 30th, Johnny let me take some portrait shots of him to help me practice.
I really like the shots I came home with.
The last one is probably my favourite. I love the old styleness of it.

You can view those images on my Flickr here & my DeviantArt here.

Pheasant Catch

Before the Legan Gun Club can release Pheasants as part of a conservation program in Legan they have to be caught first!!!

The Pheasants that is!!!

Martin Burke trying to catch the Pheasants as others look on.
Including my daddy in the middle with the black hair.
Rest of the names to come.

I tried so hard to get Mossy the dog in the shot better but as soon as I moved to a different angle she was gone.

Still I really like this shot.

Taken at the beginning of August.

Pheasant Release

Members of the Legan Gun Club where releasing Pheasants as part of a conservation program in Legan and wanted me to take some photos for them.
That was the Pheasant Catch above and this is the Pheasant Release.

Window Into The Past

Flickr | DeviantArt

Old photo belonging to Johnny O'Neill, he was showing it to my daddy and left it down on the windowsill so I took a photo of it.

A photo of a photo.
Not sure who are the people in the photo or when it was taken but I will find out.

Probably one of my favourite shots to date. I love it.

My Latest Photos

I have been sick for a quite sometime now but have recently been feeling better so I decided to get posting some of my photos that where taken from August 2008 to the end of 2008. (I'm not sure of exact dates!)

I will only be submitting photos and info about when I took them, of my most recent uploads and not my older stuff. Just a new start for my blog. I hope to keep it updated when I can.

At the moment I have about 40 photos to come. So loads of post coming I hope!!!

Here are the first three I have submitted. More coming soon.
All my recent photos can be viewed on my Flickr, DeviantArt & RedBubble sites

Foxhall Cross, Ireland

I was just down in Foxhall one evening with my daddy and was lucky to have the light shining through the gateway onto this cross.

It was just perfectly lit.

I've visited Foxhall on so many occasions and it can still surprise me with shots like this!!!
At all different times of the day you get different light coming from all different angles. Amazing.

Foxhall is the graveyard here in my village in Legan. I have visited it so many times like I just said. You can view all shots I have submitted to flickr of Foxhall here.

Root Cutter, Legan Heritage Cottage, Ireland

Flickr | DeviantArt | RedBubble

A Root Cutter outside the beautifully restored Heritage Cottage here in Legan.
Taken on a lovely autumn evening.
I love the rose bush.
Definitly want to go back and photograph it much closer to get more detail. And photograph more of the Cottage itself.
But still I love this shot, I love the lovely autumn evening colours.

Abbeyshrule Abbey, Ireland

Sunset at Abbeyshrule Abbey.
This was taken back at the end of October. As far as I can remember me and daddy where driving around and noticed the lovely sunset that was in the making and I said to him to head over to Abbeyshrule and see if I could get some nice shots of it.
I haven't in a long time shot at Abbeysrule Abbey and didn't until now have a photo that I really liked from there.
It was a beautiful evening even though it was freezing cold!!! I have to remember to back some gloves when I go shooting just incase my hands freeze up!!! Haha!!!

I was trying to find the best way of shooting it and it wasn't until we where leaving that I looked back and saw this!!!
I made sure and got the sun right in the window and it perfectly silouetted it.
Couldn't have asked for a better photo to end the day.
