Some Old Ruins, Johnny O'Neill & A Pheasant Catch.

Firstly some shots taken on the same day (20th & 29th of October 2008) as the shots in the last blog entry.

Abbeyshrule Abbey, Ireland II

First one is of the Abbey in Abbeyshrule. I'm not mad on this shot because its blurry and hasn't great quality but still I thought I'd show it plus I like the colours.
Taken on the 29th October 2008.

Foxhall Church

The inside of the wonderful Foxhall Church.
Not the most perfect shot but I still like it. Taken on the 20
th October 2008.

Some people mightn't like the branch in the corner but I like it, I think it adds mystery and seems like you are appearing out of the bushes or something!!!

The Stone Man is on the right, lit up cross in the middle and gateway in on the left.

Johnny O'Neill Portraits

A portrait series of my relation Johnny O'Neill.
Shot back in August on the 30th, Johnny let me take some portrait shots of him to help me practice.
I really like the shots I came home with.
The last one is probably my favourite. I love the old styleness of it.

You can view those images on my Flickr here & my DeviantArt here.

Pheasant Catch

Before the Legan Gun Club can release Pheasants as part of a conservation program in Legan they have to be caught first!!!

The Pheasants that is!!!

Martin Burke trying to catch the Pheasants as others look on.
Including my daddy in the middle with the black hair.
Rest of the names to come.

I tried so hard to get Mossy the dog in the shot better but as soon as I moved to a different angle she was gone.

Still I really like this shot.

Taken at the beginning of August.

Pheasant Release

Members of the Legan Gun Club where releasing Pheasants as part of a conservation program in Legan and wanted me to take some photos for them.
That was the Pheasant Catch above and this is the Pheasant Release.

Window Into The Past

Flickr | DeviantArt

Old photo belonging to Johnny O'Neill, he was showing it to my daddy and left it down on the windowsill so I took a photo of it.

A photo of a photo.
Not sure who are the people in the photo or when it was taken but I will find out.

Probably one of my favourite shots to date. I love it.
